In the timeless eternal atmosphere of this sacred wood, I see two figures walking towards a river. On the water’s edge is a woman waiting for them and a sense of a witness that has gathered for this important occasion of their spiritual journey. In the Divine Comedy, Dante drinks from the river Lethe which causes him to forget all his sins, a necessary step toward union with God.
