This work is themed around 'hyperreality', which basically means ‘more than real’. This cloud formation has been exaggerated, but it is difficult to detect where the real cloud ends and the exaggeration begins. I believe that most of what we encounter in our modern lives is 'hyperreal', especially in the urban environments, in which we are inured in layer-upon-layer of simulacra and spectacle. It all becomes too complex and too large to comprehend. Humans relate to sublime systems such as these with a mixture of attraction and repulsion, in that they are simultaneously seduced and terrorised.

So the question I ask is, how do we position ourselves in order to detect the truth? Is that even possible? And, can we do it ourselves or will we need help?
